Bulow Creek State Park, Ormond Beach, FL

This is one of the state parks we checked out while we were staying on Daytona Beach.  This is just a day park – no camping.  Welcome to Bulow Creek State Park.

It’s got hiking trails, you can bike, there is a pavilion for picnics, restrooms, etc.  The main attraction is the Fairchild Oak Tree.  It’s about 400 years old and really spreads out!  I’m not sure if you can tell from the picture below, but some of the branches even run across and under the ground.
