Football Frenzie

Last weekend I took the opportunity to do a little bonding with my sons.  We attended a Lakeland Raiders arena football game.  My oldest sons girlfriend is one of their dancers with the Lady Raiders Dance Team, and I’d always wanted to see her dance.

It happened to be Memorial Day weekend.  They had a special pre-game dedication to all of our past, present, and fallen soldiers:

Let the game begin!

This was a surprise to me.  They have junior cheerleaders who dance with the dancers several times during the night:

Aren’t they stinkin’ cute?!!

Our favorite dancer is front and center! 🙂

I was worried that even though my camera had great ISO settings, the zoom lens that I would need to use to get close-ups, would fail terribly.  Not bad for my cheap 70-300mm lens on the close-ups!  I cannot wait to get my Canon 70-200mm f2.8L lens soon after we get to CO!
