The Grand Unveiling! | Greeley and Northern Colorado Portrait Photographer
After a year+ of tweeting my heart out (although I’m not so sure that I was tweeting correctly at first), I finally won one of the creativeLIVE twitter contests. Imagine my surprise (just my luck), since I had JUST re-branded myself over this past Labor Day weekend! Yes, I am an artist photographically speaking, but not by any stretch from a design standpoint. So, even though I had just literally went through three whole days to re-brand myself, I was absolutely delighted with my prize. I had always wanted a really nice logo – anything besides just the text-based ones that I was creating – but didn’t have the financial means at the time to hire a pro.
For several weeks now, I have been working closely with Marathon Press on re-branding my photography business. Now, after much anticipation, I am able to unveil my new website and logo. I would like to thank creativeLIVE, Sarah Petty and The Joy of Marketing, Mark, Deedee, Ronny, my graphic artist, and all of the web design people behind the scenes. Here she is (drumroll please) my new logo:
To check out my new website head over here. You might notice that it’s a new URL. This is actually my third one since starting my business in 2009. My first URL was based on a nickname that I was given years ago, when I was a teen. It always had to be explained to people (loracphoto – carol spelled backwards). So I figured that from a business standpoint, I should get rid of it and go with my name + photography (caroldunniganphotography). I realized that now it was WAY TO LONG! Since I’ve been ‘given’ a brand new website and since I already owned my URL name, I figured that I would change it one more time. It’s now my name. Just my name. Short and sweet. Easy for people to remember (caroldunnigan). I think that’s a keeper.
You can also see my new logo in my watermarks, starting with the post right below this one. 🙂
