Dog Gone Fun! | Greeley/Northern Colorado Pet Photographer
Happy Father’s Day!!! We started to celebrate Father’s Day a day early this year. Since I knew that both boys had to work on Father’s Day, I asked them to try to get time off from their jobs on Saturday so that we could celebrate. We ended up attending our first Yappy Hour event at Twin Rivers Park. It was a fundraiser for The Humane Society of Weld County. Great cause!
I met a lot of cute, loveable dogs and their owners. It was great to get out and meet them! The event had lots of wine and beer tasting. It also had sandwiches, brownies, chips and non alcoholic drinks for sale. Plenty of water in a water cooler. They also had free doggie ice cream. Swimming pools, water dishes, buckets of water, balls and Frisbee’s were spread out for doggie fun. Here are some images from the event:
From here on out, I hang my head. Besides Jack towards the end, I forget the names. If you let me know your dogs names, I will add it to the pictures!
One of the owners of Syntax Spirits. We got a chance to talk a bit. I picked up a flyer from her that reads: “Handcrafted, authentic Colorado vodka, rum, and whisky. Free tasters and tours, bottle sales and full cocktail bar! Coffee bar, non-alcoholic drinks, and locally made nibbles also available. Under 21 welcome. | Outdoor patio seating, daily specials! Art exhibitions and live music! For all the latest on events, like us on Facebook and twitter: Syntax Spirits.”
The next dog-friendly event that I know about is The 2nd Annual Discovery Days Doggie Day. That should be fun! It’s Saturday, August 17, 2013. We hope to bring our clan out this year!
