A Grand Hotel in Boulder

We got a little sightseeing in while my mom was here in November.  Preparing for her visits, I always look for historic places to go, because that’s what she loves.  We knew we were heading to Boulder, so I started there.  Besides going to Chautauqua Park for lunch, we stopped at the Hotel Boulderado.

I got this view from looking out an interior window on the 3rd or 4th floor. It over looks the top side of the stained-glass canopy ceiling that you can see in the lobby shot above.

My sister-in-law, my mom, and I.

What a beautiful, old hotel!  The hotels website has a lot of info.   I was only able to capture a few images, but you can see more here.  For their history, click here.
