Here you will find my photography, sprinkled with snapshots. I write stories and give info about the people, places, and things that I see.
My husband was taking me on a tour of the oil fields in Southern Wyoming, and we stumbled upon these empty corrals. It kind of felt like a ghost town. (3 more images)
This post is very interesting. I see very seldom deserted photos.
Probably related to a cattle operation, but not too long ago judging by the fence panels. Other part is that I’m surprised whoever ran the operation would leave the panels on site. Panels do not come cheap, perhaps $75-100 per panel. Very nice find nonetheless.
Thank you! I wonder if it is still in use and they just rotate it out.
That feels empty & sad. Cattle ranch at one tme ? Guess u r feeling better, we r glad to see, or wouldn’t be traveling . Hope so, anyway. Mrs F
Those were actually taken in Sumner of 2013 when Brad worked up there. Just have a bunch of images I never got to sort through.
Getting over another sinus/lung thing, but much better. I’m on my last bottle of anti fungal meds, a few more days left. A CT in June.
What concerns me is that they said I’d be on meds until there was no change in CT and there haven’t been. Since there’s no precident on healthy immune systems…we shall see. 🙂
